yup, I’ve been helping my mom get new tires for her CX5. I walked her through some options but came to the conclusion that an all season with mountain snowflake on it were her best choice (Advantage A/T were the only ones in her size) . She goes to the local place she always goes to and tells them whatI recommended to her and then they try and sell her on some “similar tires”. Freaking E copias . This is why I have trust issues with tire places.

I was driving this girl home one night after a movie date and I had to 4 wheel drift then bounce off of a snow bank to get to her house. I gave her warning but it always seems to scare people when you pull a stunt like that.

I’m starting to loath les swab. They sell only all season tires and very little on the high performance summer or gnar off road end.

I can usually find what I want locally, but I HATE the place my mom goes to. Family loyalty thing. My dad was a friend friend in need to someone there and so we go because of that. Frankly they are no good, but the guy is a nice dude who always tries.

I went to discount tire for my snow tires and they were terrific. So yeah les Swab isn’t getting anymore of my business.
